All smiles with my new mods

I got my CL-S back tonight with almost all of my mods installed, and OH MY GOD I'm so happy!

The headers (and maybe the NGK Iridium plugs) really make a difference pulling at the top end of each gear. I'm a bit sorry (but not really) to admit I hit the rev limiter twice tonight *letting the ECU adjust* to the new stuff. It was worth it. >;]

The CT springs not only make the car look f*cking awesome, the springs and sways combo handle amazingly tighter as well (not bouncy, just tight). The car bites into the next lane at highway speeds so much more responsively than before, and during some hard slalom runs it really stayed in the turn better than before. I'm sure my Yoko's had a lot to do with it as well.

Anyway, just wanted to share the good news!

Dean, tell your boyz to get the f*cking Ice Box out the door!!!

Lata

I've got *before* pics of totally stock (except tires), and will be taking shots tomorrow of the *after*. It looks a lot better with tint, the drop, and fog-light removal.
I think that OBX group buy price for the headers made the improvement well worth it. I assume I'll get even more out of them when the CAI gets installed. It is a very noticeable gain at high-end. The revs climb faster for sure. I can't say it's a big jump at low RPM's, but it's mildly noticeable. It sounds a little different, even at idle.

Not yet. We're doing a track meet in a couple weeks in the Dallas-Ft Worth area, so I'll have my times after that.

The 2003 black plastic inserts were $18 each, and it took about 10 minutes and 1 philips screw driver to swap both out.
