Alcohol/Water injection worth it??
What research I have done on alcohol/water, or methenol injection systems, shows nothing but positive reasons for using these sort of kits. But, I dont hear about many people running these systems on this site or anybody for that matter. If you could help me understand maybe why people arn't using them or why you wouldnt, it would be appreciated.

Theres a few people running meth on supercharged engines. Not many here have the mods to support it though.

Right, the most common places you do see it is on FI applications because the results are more significant. But, The cooling effect it has would also benifit NA applications not to mention the cleaning out of the carbon build up, correct? As far as having mods to support the set up, with a 50/50 mixture and a modest enjection there shouldnt be a need for an upgrade on the enternals. This is only based off of what i have read so if i am wrong please correct me.

Truthfully, I havent read up on meth injection, so anything other then what I posted above would be talking out of my ass.

Forced induction systems raise the air temps 100 to 200 degrees or more depending on SC or turbo systems as we all know because the air is being compressed. The horsepower loss is 1% for every ten degrees. So meth systems and intercoolers can regain decent power by cooling the air down and making it more dense in the process, but for NA engines it won't help much. Really, as the engine sees it, a 90 degree day in the big picture of things is still "cool" air. Others may want to chime in here....

Right, obviously it would be more benificial for a FI system. But, what i am leaning twards isnt so much performace, as you said gains would be very small for a NA car, rather it be used to sustain a engine's life by the cleaning process that takes place when the mixture is condensed and ignited. Really what i am trying to say is it worth a coulple hundred for a kit and refilling the tank just for the reason's i explained above?

No, I would lean towards synthetic oil in the crankcase kept clean and a clean air filter as well. You can do a Seafoam job every now and then which will clean up the intake, intake valves and combustion chamber. The throttle body can be done manually. Meth systems and the like would be really common or even used by the OE's if they were that needed. There is also the concern of the computer controlled mixture being upset by something the system is not made to recognize. Too lean and you'll burn valves. Just a thought.

Waste of money without FI. As ChucksCL-S said, run some SeaFoam through the intake if you're concerned about carbon buildup. Much more effective and cheaper.
