$90 Wood Grained steering wheel upgrade

So I needed a new steering wheel...I searched around the forum and from the info I read it seemed like the steering wheel was interchangeable with the 01-02 Acura MDX. I purchased the steering wheel from Ebay member "magautoparts" for $90 shipped...took me about 30-40 minutes to install and I couldn't be happier. As you can see from the pics it looks like it's just a shade darker but it don't bother me...the camera flash makes it more noticeable than it really is.

My CL has a wheel similar to this except in marble. Also the dash trim, door panels, center console area are in an aftermarket marble finish.

Thats not aftermarket. Black interiors had the marble trim. Im just a bit confused as to why your CLS-6 would have it since IIRC all 03s had the silver trim. Maybe the previous owner swapped it?

It appears as though the OP has an 03 6MT, so yes.

No, I've had a CL, it still has the Silver trim. This is those aftermarket Dash kits that you could probably get in carbon fiber, woodgrain, marble etc...

The 6MT was only available on the S. The black interiors had silver or marble, the tan had wood.

It wasn't that hard to install...took me about 30-40 minutes and all you need is the following...screwdriver, 14mm socket and a T30 tork bit. There was no need for a steering wheel puller...

Thanks for the info but I ran into a problem with mine. . .the screws that attach the "steering dynamic damper" (rubber thing on top of middle part of steering wheel after srs is removed) did not fit the mdx steering wheel. Did you have that problem?? if so did you use different screws or just leave it off?

Forgot about that...did you get those 2 extra screws that came with the steering wheel? I used those screws the "steering dynamic damper"...they worked fine.

Thanks again. I thought those were just extras for the steering column but they worked on the damper to i guess. I have an automatic and it really goes well with my mdx wood grain shift knob.
