Alarm Issue
Ok so my battery died a few days ago and today i just noticed the alarm doesnt go off if as it usually would. But te keyless entry still works, so basicly how do i reset or fix this issue. I am now very parinoid
oem or aftermarket???, cause oem should not have changed with a disconnected battery, an aftermarket one kinda depends on the alarm itself

its the oem, how can i test it out because my friend was shaking the car and then i open my window locked the car and opened the door manually and nothing happened

unlocking it from inside- did you give it a full 30 seconds or so, to fully arm itself or just opened it right away; the light flashing pattern should change (pretty sure) on that security light right next to the lock knob on the driver's door

try moving the seat to a different positon (do not reprogram the memory), then lock and unlock it, then when you open the door you should here the seat moving, and when it gets to the memorized position it should beep like 3 times inside the car to tell you it is there
if non of that happens, it sounds like the remote has been unlink from memory position, so push the lock and unlock buttons at the same time (prefueably near the car just to make sure) and hold them both down for i think like 10 seconds, and you should get a comfermation tone from somewhere that the memoray system is relinked with the #1 remote
then repeat above to doable check that fixed it
also remote #2 is exactly the same as above, just with the 1's replaced with 2's
