Every morning, i start the car and warm a bit..and i swich the air condition by hitting auto buttom..and i can heard a loud sound from the hood ...is that normal....??

actually not turning ac on..i just hit the auto buttom....and it might auto turn the ac on...so...is that sound normal?

There is a sound as the compressor and fan come on but it's not really loud? Is yours really loud?

gto2050 (Mike) - The voice of absolutely no reason whatsoever!

 

You will hear a click and then a growl or pump running noise, but it shouldn't be really loud. Are you in garage? It is the ac compressor engaging and they do make a little noise, but should not be loud enough to bother or concern you.
