thinking about getting a 2000 or 2001 prelude......lost it around a corner went backwards through the fence in the pics and then went on the roof in that little ditch in the pics....me and my brother crawled out virtually unharmed just shaken up a little more pissed than anything.....but thats the way it goes

 

OMG dude , you are one lucky bastard. Wow man, that is some crazy stuff. Good thing nobody was around and no one got hurt. Another CLS bites the dust.

yea full coverage...........only passenger side airbag the side that was hitting the fence.....all the impact was side and back plus we werent wearing seatbelts so im glad the front airbags didnt come out

 

Sorry about your loss. As long as you werent hurt, that counts the most.

I lost a friend in HighSchool to the same type of wreck. In a 924 porsche they went backwards thru a split rail fence, and the rails penetrated from the rear hatch out thru the windshield routing thru the passenger seat on the way. The passengers on the right side front and rear were both impaled.

 

see, i gotta "good eye" ... now where's that "I'd hit it" sign ...

 

damn. I was wondering who was going to be the first tool to comment on the airbags.

("gee, I see you backed into a mailbox, but your airbags didn't go off... your car must be defective. I smell recall!")

but I certainly didn't think it was going to be you, astro...

 

Front airbags should not and did not go off in this crash. Maybe the one side airbag, but probably not.

yea 1stgen its a cfcc sticker it happened just off 441 near anthony....

 

type s ....i think im going to get a prelude something to cheap so i can pay the insurance
and whitecls the passenger side airbag did come out....oh and shawn i explained it all in the beginning of the post but ill go for it again in grave detail....anyways i wasnt showing off ive driven down that road alot and done the same thing over and but this time the rear slipped on the gravely road did a 180 went sideways/backwards through the fence hit the ditch rolled on to the roof and thats where it sat i reached up and rolled the window down and crawled out well from my angle the window went up.....so in conclusion yes i think there was a second spitter on the gravely road
