so the crack in my windshield keeps growing. sorry hella, the superglue didn't work for me . and it's growing in two different directions now. at the dealership it will cost me $147 to install and $477.62 for the glass which equals to a whole lot of money. Safelite autoglass will put it in for $320, but aftermarket windshield. what shoud i do? and no i can't go through my insurance because my detuctable is $500.

 

I paid 500 and got a Factory replacement. Insurance covered the balance..

Hey i would check with your insurance company because i know in Florida they have to replace your windshield for free no matter how it happened. Not many people know that though but they sent ppl out right away and had my grandmothers fixed (she cracked it) and they took care of all the charges.

 

There are a few top line glass makes, Safelite is crap...I wouldn't use them. If you can, spend the extra money.

I had my windshield replaced, don't know the brand...but its just as good as the one Acura supplies.
