Aftermarket Clutch/Pressure Plate?

I wonder how much for just the Pressure plate? February is a lot longer than I was counting on. After reading jproy's input shaft seal problem, I'm not driving mine any significant distances until I have mine done.

Products take time to develop. R&D takes time and $. They have to balance the demand and the costs of developing this kit over another kti they may be able to sell for more. That being said in February expect to see a sale/groupbuy on these beasts.

Yes, you need the stage 3+. It will drive smoothly, hold more power than
you are putting down and offer tremendous life. The unit is on our site ,
but the flywheel is not (it is in production). When are you looking to do
the install?

. I spoke to them at SEMA and they were telling me that they were going to get to work on it as soon as they got back. I spoke to Chris H. (there are a lot of Chris's over there) and he said Jan. 15th also on the clutch and flywheel package. I will be doing a GB on these so look for that around the beginning of January.

Here is the latest update from my R&D Department: It appears the direction they previously were headed turned into a dead end so now a new game plan needs to be developed. Unfortunately this has caused a delay in the production process and the original release date of December 2006 no longer stands.
PRI and Christmas are steadily approaching so I don’t expect another update until the first of the year. We appreciate everyone that has showed continued support of Competition Clutch and we look forward to servicing all of your needs very soon!

I spoke with melissa and she said that they dont have any plans to release this setup? they dont even have it in development= no research done on it! I dont know if she sent this message to slow the tons of mail she has been receiving concerning the product but I have a gut feeling that they are gonna continue to push the date further and further away until we all lose hope, I hope you all know that spec has a setup for our cars, only disk and pressure plate though;( they have been talking about making the billet flywheel but nothing serious to date, I also called and spoke with spec and they do want to release a lightened flywheel but nothing on the r&d yet. I dont know if this will help you guys any but I know a lot of people in the industry and I had a custom setup built for my cl-s 6 speed and its been fantastic! but im telling you guys that their is no setup in this world that will keep the driving comfortability of the stock! even though it slips here and there and the surface of the disk will tear off with enough punishment it is comfortable to drive, acura made our flywheels dual mass for a reason! I have been talking to sachs racing R&d for a pressure plate like mine and they are willing to build it with the condition of 10 or more units in conjunction with the clutchmasters t-6 billet aluminum lightened flywheel and clutch disk that has been tested and proven to work together through actual table and vehicle tests. I am expecting a call later with the numbers, I will send ron a message with all the info and numbers to pass on to you guys in case I cant find this thread later. if any of you are in so-cal I have this setup in my car right now and I will show you how it functions and the pros and cons of both clutches, stock and aftermarket.. big difference in their charachteristics and both have pros and cons! if you are supercharged or turbo, I most defenantly reccomend a aftermarket setup. thanks 4 your time guys and I will have info 4 you guys soon. by the way I am not a vendor! so I might try to hook up with one of the vendors on here to handle all the money and transactions with all the interested members here. I am just using the connections that I used to get mine built for all of the fellow cl-s 6 speeders on here, I know how it was when I looked for a aftermarket clutch kit for my 6 speed.

back to stock except for a few parts here and there and of course the clutch flywheel pressure plate set-up, wed is cool man just hit me up and I can meet you somewhere.
