IMO, if you pay to have someone install them then it is not worth the money for the few ponies they give. But if you can install them yourself, takes about one hour, and you also like the looks of them then it is reasonable.

But don't expect any real gains from them; 2 - 3 HP and the same in torque...

aem power-pullies = worthless

if you want to install pullies that make a difference, you gotta get the Unorthodox Racing crankshaft pulley replacement...

around $300 plus some $30 for belts and some $100 for installation.

They look nice....but as for the UR pulleys....don't expect your motor to last for 200K like most Hondas.

for only 2 - 3 hp, it's not worth ruining your motor.

But are you saying this is the case with All Pulley kits including the AEM? or only the UR Kit?

I'm saying the UR crank pulley only. As this one pulley is affecting something internal, whereas the others are just underdrive pulleys.

I'm not saying that you will immediately destroy your car or something, but as with any mod that affects internal operation of your vehicle...it will reduce engine life...the flip side is that he UR crank pulleys are supposed to give a healthy dose of about 15whp(?)...best bang for the buck on the market...
