aem doesn't make headers. it markets the headers that dc sports makes.

last i heard there was fitment problems w/ these headers, but judging by dc sports R&D in the past few years - i'm sure they figured it out by now.

only downfall i see is that they're ceramic rather than ss.

Excelerate mentioned that they are going to come out with a new batch soon so there won't be fitment issues.

COMPTECH or go home! Problem free is the way to be.. In the long run doing things half ass will end up costing you just as much but with many problems along the way.

alphawerks headers are fine....they are stainless steel and the new ones dont have fitment issues..they are also a resonable price...dont get me wrong comptech quality is superior but in the end its just a metal pipe..no need to spend $1200

AEM bought out DC Sports a few years back so it is an AEM-owned company. The first design was a 2 bolt flange. However that was causing issues with gaskets leaking. So I spoke to AEM about it at the SEMA show and they said they were re-designing it to a 3 bolt design.

They weren't initially. Just the wooshing sound but some of the newer batches have been poorer quality. There was a thread 2 days ago in the TL forum about a possible unmachined flange, and in this link the guy's welds on the collectors cracked.

AEM is a good supplier. Most of my friends prefer them. They offer reasonable price with their products.
