I installed an AEM CAI on my CL-S. Loved the performance. When I cleaned my car, I looked under the car where the filter sits. Water was dripping out. Put my hand on the filter, it was SOAKED!! I hurried and pulled the filter off. It was dripping wet. The oil was rinsed off. It looks like the water from the hood is channeled to drop directly on top the filter. This can not be good. I shoved a rag in the tube where the filter was and continued to clean my car. When I was finished, ,the rag was soaked, as if I would have thrown it in a pool. Has anyone else ever noticed this. Thanks for any advice. I already have authorization to send it back. Any help????????????

 

you will need to put a big piece of weather stripping along the side of the engine bay to not allow water to get down there. But don't worry you don't have much to worry about. Mine gets wet all the time. Just don't let it suck in tons of water
