AEM CAI moded to be a short ram?

Anyone ever modify their AEM CAI to be a short ram? I know it is possible. Just wondering if anyone else has done it. Any results in performance or any pics would be appreciated. I live in Southern Louisiana and, as you know, the weather has not been to great lately. Luckly I own another vehicle. I don't have the bypass valve, and do not want it, so don't write back and say, "Get the bypass valve!" I don not think that it is that great. This past week has made me want to madify my CAI. I don't think that it is worth a chance!

Well..I think it is possible because accords and stuff have a two piece pipe. Just cut it after the first bend where it gets straight again. There shouldn't be any problems....at least to my knowledge..maybe the pipe might be too long after you reassemble it to a CAI again. So you might need a bigger washer uptop to raise the cai just a little bit.

I don't know if the CL intake will work on the CL-S. I also did not know that AEM made a short ram. Post a pic if you have one. How much?

purchased it for $139.00. looking to get maybe $100 for it. used for about 20 miles then removed it. my girlfriend said she didn't like the way it sounded! she wanted to hear my jazz music more than the v8 sound. here are the links....hope this works!
