Is this what you did? Did this take care of the problem? Or are you just suggesting this?

Juice,

Do what I did on my Lude Si. Find dynamat or any one-sided sticky material. Make a template of the hole where the CAI went through. Cut out the "dynamat" material to match the hole. Cut a hole in the middle of the "dynamat" sheet to allow for CAI tubing. The hole should be practically hugging the CAI. There you have it. Instant car wash proof

I just got an AEM CAI, do I have to put some plastic bag over the filter to wash the car? That will be lame if so. What happens when it rains? That thing is coming off if it's that much of a hassle! Let me know, I'm picking the car up in a hour.

My filter got soaked when I cleaned my car. Already took it off. They will only give me store credit, so I think I will just modify it to my likeings. I had put the mat, but never siliconed it down. I will do that as well as something for the channel. I really like the product. I just don't want to ruin my car.
