advice on stock cd player

DO NOT STICK BURNED CD'S WITH LABELS IN THE CD PLAYER!!

I stuck a burned cd with a cd label in the cd player, and it got stuck.

Acura said its not under warranty because it is not meant to play burned cd's. They said the charge was around $300 to TRY to fix the unit, or if it needed replacement, then it would be $900. OUCH!!

Luckily I found a private audio shop that pulled the unit out and fixed it for $80.

Labeling burnt cd's is a waste of money anyway. Just get a sharpie marker and label it that way. My burnt cd's out number by bought cd's about 20:1 and I haven't had a problem yet

Go to another dealer. It IS COVERED. No where in the manual does it say NOT to play burned CD's. I had all 6 disk stuck in my 02 I had. It was replaced under warranty. Some others haver had theirs replaced as well.
