Advice on buying a CLS

I'm thinking about trading my 2001 CL for a 2001CLS. I wouldn't
have thought it before but since Acura has the extended warranty
on that year, I figured what the hell. Does 35 more HP make the
difference?

you bet... but wait... for 04 there are new models coming... you may get a 280 HP engine so that 55HP.

It's probably not worth trading in a 01 CL for an 01 CLS. Why not go for the 03?

I would consider an 03 but if the 04 has more power, then I'll wait.

I would get an "S" not just for more HP, but also for the resale value. Good luck.

are u really that desperate for 35hp and other little tweaks here and there? i personally wouldnt think its worth losing thousands over...

Even if u were the trouble of selling ur car then getting another one u like is greater. Rememeber it will be a used car and who knows how that owner might have treated it?

I'm not that desperate. I figured that the CLS was the hookup
since I rarely see any posts from any base CL owners.

Stick with the base CL... or have a look at other new models which are coming out to market. If you bought your car since it was new, you probably know its service and reliability history... by picking up someone's used car, you might also inherit someone's problems and lose a perfectly good car..
Slap on some headers and you're in the S club!

one of the most "hooked up" CL's on the board is a base model, that being Aarons (4pumped)
