no, sadly I had to sell that because these times are effed up and you never know when you're gonna hit a down or high...I hit a big down and had to sell it off. At a little bit of a high so I picked up another CL because its such a great DD and has some potential as well

You COULD use a baseball bat and a heat gun but I don't really recommend doing it like that.

Organize a couple of friends and rent a fender roller for a day and have everyone split the rental.

Or...

Just pay someone to do it for you...which is what I did.

I felt more comfortable just paying someone who had experience because I didn't want to worry about cracking my paint.

 

Congrats! But what is it with people buying CL's trying to produce race cars? I'm not trying to be a pessimist or anything but is it for quarter mile use or road racing?

I commend you on the effort, I really do. I love it when people try different things. Show us your progress and I hope you go all out. I'm talking 1 race seat, roll bar, carbon fiber, racing wheels, R-comps, coilovers, headers only, custom tune, cams, racing harness, and try to compete in NASA and SCCA. You'll get a feel of how the car will behave under "extreme" conditions. Good luck .

 

dont forget the 3.5 stroker kit lol right now Im arguing with my brother on it being stripped down because he wants it as his daily driver maybe I gotta find another CL now for REAL cheap and transform that

 

get a 6spd, major power difference between the auto and 6spd.
