Acura touchup paint questions...

1)How is the quality of Acura's touchup paint?
2)Does every dealer carry them all?
3)How much do they cost?
4)Is it an ok value?
5)Do I get it at the dealer or shop? (my dealer's shop is somewhere else)

Thank you, as u can tell I plan on buying some...

It's good quality.

I assume every dealer would carry some, if not, they could order it.

It's cheap, like $7 or something.. Good value.

Get it at the dealer, make sure you're getting genuine acura paint - it'll be the best/perfect match for your own.

Make sure you don't put too much on when you're using it. Read the directions - put it on lightly, let it dry, put on mulitple layers...

Touchup paint is good for very small nicks/scratches. Be very careful. And like caddy man suggested, use a toothpick.

I picked up some touch up paint this week from a dealer in Canada that has a felt tip on each side that spring loads to discharge paint. One side is colored paint and the other side has clear coat. I have a few rock chips on the hood to repair. It should be easier to apply. It was $11 cdn.

It's cheap but I ruined my car

I got 2 huge nicks and I coated that shit and it looks like a bird shat paint on my hood. Now I'm pissed and can't do anything. I'm waiting for another nick on the same spot so I can try again... Be careful when using the touchup paint. It's like 5 bucks.

Ever hear of this stuff to get rid of the BLOB?

I don't know anyone that's tried it though.

The jagged edge from a match ripped out of the pack works better for me than a toothpick. It "wicks" the paint up so you never get a big drip like the brush or a toothpick (and it's quicker than a little toothpick) but it puts on enough paint to fill a layer in.
