Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a nose bra on their second gen CL? Not the 3M clear one, but the old-school leather ones? If so, could you post some pics and details on where you got it... thanks!

I only put it on for long road trips. Got it at the Acura dealer.

 

Same here only for road trips. Got it at the dealer also. It's such a PITA to put on & take off.

 

I use mine for road trips too....but haven't used it lately because it's a pain to put on and off....and I try to keep it off if it rains, or at least take it off right after it rains.

 

I only use the hood bra piece for highway trips. Not too bad putting on and off. got it on ebay for like $35.

I'm probably going to put it on this weekend, so does anyone have any suggestions/hints on how to make it easier?

 

I have a complete brand new one from Acura if anyone is looking. Never been installed, still in box.

 

i actually think it doesnt look that bad! Im definitely gonna have to get 1 if/when i get my 2nd gen....300 miles there and back to PSU from NY on I-80 with plenty of trucks...my last CL's paint job took a BEATING

 

Don't put it on cold, leave it in the sun or at least unfolded for a while... makes it a little more stretchy and helps a lot.

thanks, but they are back to untinted, I put in the yellow PIAA bulbs for now.

 

Make sure the car is clean when you put it on too. Never install it on a dirty car. Like BlueCLS6 said though, stretch it out in the sun for a couple hours first, your life will be much easier.

 

What do you want for it?

 

how do they look? I put Some LED White PIAA bulbs in my roadlamps and they are real nice during the day and night
