i took my car in cause the navi system is acting screwy, i have version 2.11C

they told me they installed a "patch" that fixed my car, i can't wait to get there tonight and see this new "patch" they installed

so what is screwy about that?

The navi is basically software, so why wouldn't a patch work? If patches are issued for MS Windows, I'm sure patches can fix navi problems.

so how can you apply a patch to the highest version of software?

thats like saying i installed service pack 3 for xp when there is no such thing

i bet they just reinstalled the software... maybe when u upgraded it, it missed something.

Even the latest software version can have patches, look at any MS product.
