Hey guys,
I continued one of the thread couple weeks ago regarding the AC hissing sound come out from passenger side. I know few people having this problem too.
Basically, the hissing sound come out every other minute - sometime getting really loud.
I brought this up to Acura and they said, prob something wrong the tubing position, and they fixed it and recharge the AC as well.
It DOESN'T solve the problem.

Now they said, they will order a new evaporator and they are sure it will fix the problem.

What do you guys think ? Will it solve the problem ? I prefer not to have them working on my car unless it will fix the problem. All of the work will covered by warranty so it is not about the $$.

That noise is normal as far as I know. I had 2 different CLS's & they both did it. It was posted in the FAQ also as being a normal sound.

 

do you think the evaporator will solve the issue ?

 

I doubt it. However since the dealer is going to do it anyway let them.
