abs sensor help

I accidentally bent the tip of the rear right sensor when installing new studs.
so I straighten hearing cracking sounds.
Put the car back together and had a tcs and abs light constant.
Got a used sensor and installed.Lights are still on????????
I disconnected the batt for 10minutes and there still on.
What should I do.

well if you messed the sensor up then that's what u need to fix..

try pulling the 7.5 amp fuse. if that don't work then it's a reoccurring issue which is obviously the sensor you bent/broke or whatever you wanna call it.

If i am not mistaken. if any of the abs sensors are not functioning correctly then you will most likely have a solid abs light.

I say replace the sensor and ur good

I did try to replace the sensor today with a used one from a 03 cls.
Part #'s are the same.
Maybe I got a bad one or I damaged it installing it.
It was so hard to get in.
Are our ABS wheel sensors always hard to remove/install?
I had to destroy the old one to get it out and the new one took some time getting it back in trying to be easy with it.
ABS and TCS Lights are still on.
I might have to order a new one,I just did'nt want to wait 3-4 days.
The one I got today was 50 minutes away.

Try pulling the fuse first, and if that doesnt work order a new one, I recently changed my lower ball joints and the abs sensor came out pretty easy so maybe try cleaning it out or something

I cleaned the hole with sandpaper, even sanded the drum section of the sensor, lubed the hole and sensor and banged it in with a socket and hammer.
It was tight....

^ I know that sounds a little F'd up but, thats how it was.
will do on the fuse when it's light out.

7.5 amp fuse by the passenger firewall. pull for 5-10 secs and that will clear everything. then if it reoccurs you know it's the sensor

ok,
this morning I pulled both fuses and still had lights.
So I just re-adjusted the parking brake and threw on the wheel and went for a ride for about a block and came back.
When I pulled back into the drive way ABS and TCS lights were off and TCS is fine and goes on and off with the switch.
Cleared my maintaince light while messing with the car.
Now the only light on is the SRS but, that's been on since I bought the car.
Now since I'm clearing lights. I'm going to clear that one too.

i just replaced my passenger side ABS sensor. my ABS light was on and i knew the sensor was bad. i bought a new OEM one and after installing it, the ABS light went off right away without having to reset the ECU or pull any fuses.

i'd get a sensor that you know is good

It's all good now.
It's no longer a issue.

I appreciate the advise.
