Do the Comptech headers come with header gaskets and bolts? The shop told me that they will use the old ones unless I go get my own. Is this right?

 

Yes, the CT headers do not come with new gaskets or bolts. You can use the factory ones. CT does sell SS bolts for the headers I believe for around $150, but it isn't necessary.

 

What he said .... we've sold tons of headers, but I don't think we've sold more then two stud kits since it's really not necessary.

 

Thanks guys, I was hoping that I wasn't getting jerked around by the shop doing the install. I didn't think so since I do alot of work with them,but it's always good to double check.

 

Comptech Headers don't come with the gasket, but they do come with the necessary hardware to connect the A-pipe to the two manifolds (including the crush-type O-ring). The only nuts/bolts that are re-used are at the catalytic convertor (three nuts are used again) and obviously at the head(s) themselves.
