haha..i kept up with a 2006 car with my 98! oh yeah, btw i didnt drive the cl for this race..but just thought i'd share it. i was driving my other car, a 98 corolla le, auto, and i see this suzuki forenza (BRAND NEW), driving fast and going in and out of traffic. so i decided to mess around and we came to the stop light. i was on teh left lane and he was on the right...there was im guessing 1/4 mile of free open space..light turns green, we both gunned it....it was head to head for like the first 2 gears, but then i my car was pulling a little bit and was half ahead of of him..so we were basically side to side, and my front half of the car was ahead of him...haha...cant believe my 8 year car kept up and was kinda ahead of a 2006 forenza.

he didnt have any passengers nor did i. all i have is a short ram intake off of ebay. hahahah. i read the specs on the forenza..127hp...i think my car had 120 when it was new. but yeah, thanks for reading. haha

Thats a great kill!!! I wish you could see my 95 corrolla! Although, I don't think you would have raced me. My corrolla is very heavily modded! Before I got my turbo tuned I was running around 525 fwhp at 20psi. Last time I went to the track I ran a 10.9 in the 1/4 mile. Now that my turbo is tunned and some goodies added to it I should be running around 560 to 570 fwhp at the pump and my quarter mile time should be lower, my goal is to hit right around 10.3- 10 flat, Im hoping! The guy that installed my engine and turbo said if I use racing fuel(110 octane) I should be able to get up over 600whp. We will see, but for now while its still in the shop, I will keep having fun with my CLS six speed!

Sounds like a fast car. What were you thinking! You have the equivalent of a fast Geo Prizm. On the other hand if its not riced up you have one heck of a sleeper which is pretty cool.
