98,000 Miles - First Real Problem: No Heat!
Started her up this morning, turned on the heat after the engine had warmed up to find nothing but cold air blowing strong through the vents.
Troubleshooting begins. Anyone else have this problem?

I now drive an accord....
Yup I had this problem a few weeks ago when it started getting cold. Although mine would produce heat if I turned it to 90 let it blow heat and then turn it down to my desired temp. Now it seems to be working ok

I had a similar problem. I never changed my in cabin filter, so I started from there. After I had it apart, there were leaves and other strange looking crap in clogged in the housing. After a cleaning and install of a new filter, everything is perfect.
Hopefully, I was able to give you some help.

check your coolant, if u don't have enough coolant, you wont get warm air.
also, idk about the CL but other honda's have a heater/coolant valve that opens to let coolant into the heater core, it might be stuck closed.
i'd start there.

I know this is a little off topic but i have the nav 2000 tl and was wondering whether it really matters if the ac is on or off when i want heat. usually i press the off button and press 2 for he speed at the temperature at 90...... its fine but should i press the on button for the compressor or no??
does the compress even run when the heat is on??

Anyway, it was blowing cool air and it would take a while for the air to warm up enough where I could tell if the heater was working. After I changed the filter everything was excellent. The A/C works great, and the heater works great as well. I don't to have the fan up high or the temp up high to warm up the interior.

Definitely sounds like a thermostat issue. If the t-stat stays open it will keep the coolant too cold to warm up, especially if its <30* outside.
My sisters regal did the same thing, it was a $5 fix.
I doubt you are low on coolant, because you would get a dummy light for that to happen.
I just got my first major issue also, both seat warmers arent working at all. Getting replaced under my 100k $0 warranty.

This thread made me . . .
change mine again after 34,000 miles. $17.00 & 10 minutes is a good investment. From what my filters looked like after 34k, I am surprised you get ANY air from your vents after 98k.

Im having the same problem also, checked the coolant, there was basically nothing in the reservior tank, now it filled up, still no heat blowing just cool air.
