7500 mile tune

Hey guys

just got done with my check up at 7500 miles, i provided the mobil 1 10w30 synthetic oil, and it came out to be 52.12. Like 42.50 for the 7.5k and the labor 9.50

Is this about right what you guys got?

Isn't the 7500 mile nothing more than an oil change and a tire rotation?

50 bucks for that...

I'll save my money and do it myself in 1000 miles.

There is no such thing as a 7500, 15000.

There's only really a 30,000, 60,000, 90,000.

I do a oil change (regular oil), tire rotation every 3000 for $12. I think everyone forgets the tire rotation and how much longer tire wear you can get out of it. I'm at 15,000 and not getting any BS "inspection" done until 30,000. Besides, they should be doing that every time you go in for some warranty work.

If you have your car serviced at the dealership in general you have a 3,000 or 7,500 service. This would be your 1st or 2nd oil change. The 15,000 miles service is a little more if done by the dealership. They change your A/C cabin filter & Air Filter element at this service for the 1st time. They also might put in fuel & oil additives. I am not sure all dealers do it but mine does. They put in BG products (MOA) oil additive & BG 44K fuel treat. The same thing will be done again at the 30,000 along with other stuff like tranny fluid change.

Price sounds right if you did it at the dealer.
I'm up to 10,300 in mine. I'm changing the oil every 5000 miles with Mobil1...
You just have to tell them what you want them to do. If you leave it up to them they'll charge you $40 for a brake inspection.

Although I think I'll have the proper 15k mile service done at the dealer, and I'll tell them to also change the ATF. It'll cost me but fuck it.
