7 passenger SUV?

What are the options out there guys? My sister is looking for a used 7 passenger SUV sometime in Aug or Spet. Probably get a used '02 or '03. She's thinking of the MDX for now, any other options with 3 rows?

Sure theres lots, either of the bigger Lexus SUV's, GX470 or LX470, there is the Pilot, the Tahoe, Esclade, Denali, ML500 (wouldnt reccomend however), MDX, Volvo XC90.

The new Nissan Armada looks OK. That sucker is actually pretty quick for its size too.

As for used i'd go with the MDX and cram two people back there.

I think the Toyota Highlander has optional 7 passenger seating for like $1200.

Personally I'd get the Sienna with AWD.

No need to get a Suddenly Upsidedown Vehicle unless you're towing a boat.

I still don't see how they fit a 3rd row in there. Even the pictures look like there is leg room. . .

There is knee room but the seats are very low so your knees will be up around your chin if you're an adult.

I saw a Toyota "Prado" on the road the other day, with a Michigan manufacturer's plate. It's got 3 rolls of seats too.

The Prado is a JDM version of the Lexus GX. Wonder if they are bringing it here to the States.

Motor Trend has pictures of the third row with 3 adults sitting in each truck of their Comparo. The Armada & Expedition are the only two that fit 3 adults.

here are the 7 passenger suvs i sat in, the ML 320 has decent leg room in the first 2 rows but only a child can sit in the thrid row. In the MDX the third row isnt so bad, I'm about 5'10 and i can sit there just fine. And lastly a 2002 suburban that this is huge the third row is nice, but the interior is no where near the other 2 suvs. But its mileage isn't that bad compared to the other 2 since you can use reg gas compared to the premium which is required for the other 2.

Excursion. 8 adult seats PLUS 50cu-ft of cargo space. The rest of these things all lose most of their cargo area when the third row is in.

On second thought, nevermind. (Woman driver :P)
