6spd warranty on clutch...

question regarding warranty on clutch...pedal that is. It's not broken, it's not making noises, but the damn "tread" or "slip resistant rubber material on the surface" is almost gone leaving a shavin' bald look...

Any luck with a warranty replacement or is this bullshit regarded as "normal wear & tear". I have 20k miles on the 6speeder.

I'm sure they could say its normal wear, but you won't know until you try. Go to the dealer you bought it from and ask. It could be considered a safety issue and they make do it for free. Even if they don't do it under warranty, it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

Time to go to http://www.autovation.net and get some nice aluminum pedal covers or just buy a replacement rubber one from any auto parts store.

Those pedals look nice, but they are almost too grabby with basketball shoes, which I wear all the time.
