6000k trouble
6000k trouble
alright...so today coming back to austin from home (hometown) i was behind this guy and he ran over a flat tire (shredded from a blow out earlier i guess) and i didn't have time/anywhere to avoid it, so i ended up running over it and my foglight went out. so earlier i was putting my foglight back in (apparently it just was pulled out) and i turned my lights back on, and now my drivers side headlight is flickering. not even bright flickering...just flickering (very dim). any clues to what i should do? i'm gonna replace the fuse tomorrow morning and hope that works. any ideas/suggestions gentlemen? thanks in advance.
A flickering HID bulb generally means loss of power to the bulb, it cannot ignite properly and maintain a steady voltage. From my experience with HID components, your Ballast is damaged.
just an update. it was the fuse. i guess the power going through the wiring was powerful enough to jump the gap on the busted fuse and still light up. replaced it and now works just like new. thanks for all the help
