6 speed with navi and rear view mirror

Does your rear view mirror shake when your car is in idle not moving, everytime I start my car, and look in my rear view mirror, it looks like the mirror is shaking, the plastic doesnt look like it is moving but when i hold it with my hand it does not move, I have already been to the dealership regarding this issue, and they changed out my mirror, but the new one does the same thing, they said that the mirror is within specs. It does not shake when the car is moving unless I hit a bump. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

Sun visor??
My car is stock w/Navi and my mirror shakes bad too and is difficult to see out clearly sometimes when idling. I was thinking maybe I need a tuneup and was blaming the engine but I don't think they engine is really that rough. I think the mirror is heavy or the mount was not designed sturdy enough. It's annoying.

It does it even with music on and I only have stock radio and don't play it extremely loud.
I didn't think of having the dealer replace it, seems like just a poor design, figured they'd just say no.
hmm.

WELL is you play bassy music(not even blasting it) your side mirrors will prolly jiggle like mine do. your 03 mirrors are smaller than mine, and i thought they were redesigned to reduce noise and vibration. If MY car was idleing rough(and these seems to be the case), id be lookin to fix that right away... however im at the bottom of the class here - wait for the super-intelligent half cyborgs to chime in....

I even tried to see if I could put an 02 rear view mirrow, but I would lose my dimmer and onstar per the dealership. I am not sure how to fix it. Dealer has already changed it once, they are looking into it to see for a possible solution. And I don't listen to loud bass, so that would not be the problem.

It's the interior mirror. I had a Non-Navi 03 CLS before and I do not remember this problem with that mirror. The mirrors are different cause of the onstar, microphone, etc. Both mirrors have dimmers but the dimmers worked differently.

The Onstar mirror, dim is the default. Seems like on the other mirror non-dim was the default.

Weird occurance, Scott. Mine actually does that too, and I'm navi-less.

Try talking to the dealer, and see if the RL/navi has the same mirror mount, it may be bigger. Try having them install one of those.
