6 speed manual confirmed!!
yeah, but look at the top of that page...it says 2002. maybe they were actually intending on releasing it in 2002 (before deciding to add hp and a facelift and onstar), so they printed that but never got around to getting it ready. so maybe thye will release it with the facelift and other stuff too for 2003.

you know what else the new cl will probably have? head curtain airbags. even saturn has these...i'm willing to bet $2 that the new cl will have this.
if acura_service takes the bet though, then i withdraw my bet.

Yeah - this is old stuff it looks like (and outdated and wrong) as it seems they made a last minute decision to pull the 6MT for 2002 and wait for 2003 -- I think cause they are going to time it with some other "substantial" changes
But good looking out ... we have less than a week before we know it all !

there are reviews that just came out a month ago about the i35 and max saying the car still has "260hp".

All I am saying is we know 4 things about the new 6MT car - it will have 6MT, the color, Nav system has On-Star, and it will be a 2003 model. The last two are not shown on the above marketing material or are conflicted.
Anyway - no biggie and no need to get excited, I just don't think it is the latest info.
Of course the information is dated. The department that oversees the printed materials and brochures mostly likely is not the same department who decides what's going to happen with the car next year. I don't know why anyone would actually consider a printed brochure the "final and official" word?
There is so much printed material about the Acura that's the guys/gals in the know can't possibly review and approve everything before it goes out. You would be surprised how inaccurate some of the material is.
