6 Speed Fluid ?
Someone here put REDLINE in and it didn’t work.
They went back to stock fluid shortly thereafter.
I haven’t heard of anyone else trying.

PS…. Our tranny shifts like “BUTTER” why mess with it ???

I would hardly describe that as shifting like butter. Not trying to start a war, but I have to admit that I thought that for an Acura the thing is pretty damn stiff/notchy.

My clutch shifts like butter too. I wouldn't describe the shifting as notchy at all. It's somewhat stiffer when I've started up on a cold morning, but not really anything most people would notice. It gets back to the butter state after driving a block or so.
The stiffness when cold is no different then any other car I've had or driven. All trannys are subject to that.
I think it was Wires that changed his transmission fluid to Redline and then had more trouble shifting. From what I understand, Honda transmissions are quite particular about their transmission fluid.
Were you talking about the hydraulic clutch fluid? I've not heard of anyone changing that.

I have driven a lot of cars as I worked at a dealer while in school. 2nd gear is real notchy and the rest of the gears are just so/so. BMW has nothing to worry about in terms of this gearbox. I had an 89 Vette which was the first year for the ZF-6 speed and that had longer throws, but much less notchy. That was why I was inquiring as to fluid changes b/c I had done that in the Vette.
No I was talking about changing the actual transmission fluid to somehting more slick. As I said above, 2nd gear is very notchy especially on a downshift regardless of bliping the gas or double clutching.
Nect trip to the dealer I will have to mention it. Probably not much they can do. I think its a great car otherwise, but have been unhappy with the shift feel since the day I picked it up.
Well, you’re in Florida so the “cold engine” theory doesn’t play out here.
I have been noticing my shifter getting a bit “stiff” in the morning since the weather is starting to dip into the 20’s and 30’s the last few weeks.
But like Slimey posted above, that goes away after a few minutes.
My last stick shift car before the two CL’s I’ve owned was a 91 Legend Coupe with a 5-Speed..
When I started that car after sitting in the cold for several hours I had to literary push the clutch in and “row the gears” for a minute or two before I could safely hit the road.
