Any ideas on cost?

 

More than not enough, but less than too much. I don't think the manual has been confirmed. Can we have a confirmation on its confirmation?

Lets start rumors of a 6-speed auto, like the new RX8 and Z will have

 

i was recently at my acura dealer. they told me for sure they WILL HAVE A 6 SPEED MANUAL!

 

not an expert in this matter by anyway....but since it's been posted in every car magazine i read i'm going to have to concur and say -- there will be a six speed for the 2003 model.

and theoretically (sp?) the 6 speed should be 700 dollars or so cheaper than the auto.

Where did you hear that the 350z will have a 6spd auto?

Everything that I've read indicates 6spd manual standard, and 5 spd auto sport shift which will be the same used in Infinity's new G35 sedan.

I bet the 6speed will be a "no cost option" like it is at many other dealers. That way they can charge the same for the manual and recover some costs in the process.

Who knows, if they make the 6speed a bit more sporty it might actually cost more. Maybe it will part of a "performance package" or something with better suspension and tires.

 

i wonder what the shift knob will look like...if it's like ours currently, that would b awesome...but don't u need to see the shift numbers and Reverse direction???

 

They could put that on the console like the Volvo S60-

 

didn't think of that...it's actually nicer than the normal printing it on the knob...too old-school IMO

 

i want the numbers on the shifter......
