since the cl-p engine is different from the type-s engine.. u'll need to shell out more on a type-s engine... i believe....

but u should check out the tl 2nd gen forum. they do more 6 speed conversions...

You would need a type-S engine, ecu, tranny and alot of time and skill. Prob better to just but a CL-S 6 speed.

Yes, but you have to do two conversions.

First you convert your CL-P to money by selling it.

Then you convert that money into a CL-S-6 by buying one.

I saw a cls engine on e-bay the other day for around $600 big ones.

Unless your LOADED and have an endless amount of time on your hands, another car to drive while you do the install, and just want to take on a full on project...I wouldnt recoomend it.

However, when I win the lotto I'll be doing it

Same with everyone else, it's not really worth it w/ a CL-P.

Yes it's possible.

You need allot of money, allot of time, allot of patience, and a whack on the head (optional).

This probably is the cheapest, most cost effective way of "converting" your CL-P into a 6 speed though.

Hey! CL-Ps are not bad. I have a CL-P. And it runs damn nice. Anyone wanna test me we can hit Irwindale Speedway. I'll use my friend's VT S/C'd S2000 tho :-D hahaha nah but seriously its not that bad. just not as fast as a Type-S. and those damn things are hard to find now by the way.

yeah, buy a type S 6 speed and disconnect the IMRC, that will be a CL-P 6 speed.
