6 days old and my CL got KEYED!!!!

I can't f'en believe this. Picked it up on Saturday and 6 days later some asshole keys the passenger side. I'm so pissed. Sometimes I dislike the fact that I like cars and I can't stop liking them. How do you guys deal with shit like this? I need guidance.

If you find them, kick the sh*t out of them (literally). Aside from that just imagine that you find them and figuratively kick the sh*t out of them. YMMV

I am in North Andover and noticed that my car had been spit on this morning. A nice one right on the passenger side window. Not sure when it happened since I was out most fo teh day yesterday. My car is too dirty to see if there is any other damage like keying. Sorry to hear about your being keyed though!

Me neither. Granted, spit washes off and scrapes don't. I didn't race anyone or (as far as I remember) park too close to anyone. I think that some idiots don't need much of a reason to key someones car. Sad but true.

Unfortunately, it's deep and wide. Oh, the horror! Any silver CLs out there that had body work done? Is the paint easy or hard to match?

I feel for ya man, I've had my 350Z for a week and some limp dick piece of shit scumbag keyed it already. It goes in to get fixed on Feb 2nd. You gotta wonder what kind of mental midget gets off on doing something like that. I hate people.

Man... I wish we could take all the car keyers and dump them into a tank of ill-tempered sharks with lasers on their heads.

car keyer = lowest scum of the earth.

Sorry to hear it :P .. It only took me 3 days before my new 2003 CL-S got keyed.

Parked it in a spot that wasn't beside anyone and when I came back, there was a nice straight line from driver side door handle to gas tank. My car is black too so it shows up easily.

Too poor right now to fix it, so I touched up and clear coated the exposed parts and hopefully after the winter, I'll get it fixed.

I hate to hear this shit.... Nothing pisses me off more than some spineless weasel keying a car.

It sucks to have a nice car and always have that worry in the back of your mind that some loser is vandalizing it.

Anyone caught keying a car should get every bone in both of his hands broken (and there's quite a few bones in your hands)

I think BMW owners feel this pain more than any other..... people seem to vandalize Bimmers simply because they are Bimmers.

i feel your pain...it took mine a little over a week to get keyed also, luckily for me they just raked a line across the spoiler and not the side of the car....Jealousy is a bitch i guess...

There's a bunch of a-holes around here where i work. Had my car a month, then it got keyed on both sides.

Cost me some $$$ to get them fixed. Damn if i eva find the people who did it..........

I know the feeling. Happened to both of my other cars (wife’s and my Trooper). I thought maybe I was alone on this one, but when I walk up to my car, I pray some asshole didn't key or door me.

I had my CL-S out once before I parked it for the Winter. We were at the Movie Theater and I parked out of danger. When I came out, there were cars all around me. I feared the Volvo next to me had a car full of teens and they doored me. Fortunately, nothing happen.

How to you repair a front to back key mark for $200.00. Do they repaint/clear coir the entire surface or just around the key mark?

Sorry to hear that... on the whole, people just suck ass. My faith in humanity drops a little more every day...

Hopefully it won't cost you too much to get that fixed.
