The engine can handle it, but probably the tranny cannot. You definety need a tranny cooler in an auto and a shift kit if available.

Tranny cooler helps cool the ATF fluid, which keeps your tranny running cooler. It basically makes the tranny last longer..

Shift kit firms up shifts via the valvebody. Not sure if they make one for the CL-S, but it also prolongs tranny life.

To be on the ultra safe side:

Do not use n20 during your launch. Too much a shock to the tranny
Keep your car at WOT but flip the n20 off between shifts to save wear & on the tranny
My $1.02

Let me ask u (dry vs. wet) if u are spraying a 50 shot of ZEX (ovbiously dry) and the fuel system begins to go bad and the engine goes lean. What do u do? Answer := spread those legs wide and kiss that CLS goodbye. ZEX is of poor, crap, shit, quality. Not worth placing a 30K object in its hands. But I will say the positive notes of ZEX. ZEX is a breeze to install and if there is ever a problem that requires the car be taken to the dealer then the kit can be removed in a matter of minutes without a sign that anything was there. But other than those pros, that just it.

Zex runs great!

Shaved 2+ seconds off of my 1/4 mile.

I installed a tranny cooler, run 93 octane gas, and installed Zex plugs (2 heat ranges cooler than stock), and it runs great!

Have fun with it!

if i had a 6 speed i would have a wet kit, 100 shot

Yea bro, true. But it would only take an amature to install a wet NX kit 2 hours and less than a 1/2 hour to remove it. Sure it takes double the time compared to a ZEX kit but there is quality that is compromised for convience. Remember the ZEX kit doesn't have nitrous solenoids, everything is packaged into a single unit. If anything should go wrong in that unit....well. But yea a 50 shot would be great and very easy on everything (except the tranny, shit no mods are good for our trannies) . It would be great for those times when all u need is a little push. But personally I would onyl go for ZEX if I knew that I was only goign to have the car for a couple of months. If u need more reason, go to EBAY. There are people there selling kits for less than $200.
