4th gear problems gone

i guess since the stall speed on my car was changed to 3300 instead of the stock 2400 my car on 4th gear isnt a cow i did one top end run only one (doug dont get mad) and i shifted to 4 and right a 4900 rpm all i could say was wow

It sounds like the upgrade made a big difference. Does the car sound throatier since the changeover?

oh yes when that vtec kicks in it sounds like a monster

Oh, I missed the "3.5" bit in his (really long) sig the first time through. I assume that's what changed it...?

I noticed this to (although probably to a smaller degree than mchtypes) after adding the cai. I hit forth and it hits the wall for a second but when vtec 'kicks in' it starts pulling hard again.

ya, it's really just the fact that it leaves vtec out of the 3rd to 4th shift. A big deal about vtec cars is you need to get them in the vtec power range. Drive a type R and shift early and get out of the range the cars a dog. But if it's already in that sweet spot after the up shift the thing fly's
