According to the new issue of C&D they say it is true. It will be direct competition with the M3, at least that what C&D says. It is about time that car got some power

 

yeah I've heard about that too but supposedly it's still in R&D right now... that'll be quite an impressive car and dfeinetely the power that the IS needs to be competetive in this market... now that the G35C is out I don't think our CLSes will be keeping up... it's about time that sc came out...

 

Actually I posted on another thread that Road and Track got a 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds with the G35 coupe. Not to magaazine race but the CL-S 6speed should be able to keep up. Only time will tell. Maybe we will get that 04 model CL?

 

The CL-S does it in 5.9s or better.... so I don't think anybody will be embarassed by a G35C.

Actually I was also one who put a deposit on a G35C, but was aghast at the price... nearly $38K! That's $8K over an equally-equipped CL-S - so the price sold me. I figured the only drawback to the CL-S is FWD.

If a G35C owner wants to mod the car... they will. In the same token, if a CL-S owner wants to mod the car... they will. It's who does the most that wins (if 0-60 or 1/4-mile or other statistics are important to your existence)
