Very distinctive. Unabashedly American, in a good way.

But kids of our particular generation have come to associate that style with '70s jalopies, which makes it hard to consider it against the Mercedes S600, which is probably what a 414hp V12 super-luxocruiser is aimed at. In other words, the styling is cool, but the connotation is working in conflict with what the car actually is. The Ford Forty-Nine works better.
