SWEET. Thats a mighty powerfull 1.8 litre. Gotta love the fan helpin the turbo out. Is that at the wheel power...or a calculation from the crank?

Yeah...that's some power....personally, I wouldn't have bought a Type-R to turbo....it's actually a more productive platform for motor work...
Has the guy run that thing at the track?

All you have to do is listen to the all-motor SVP ITR....that thing sounds like an oversized lawnmower

i was looking @ that. I'm wondering how much they are bossting and what other mods they had to perform to get those numbers?you might see a 400 hp prelude in your rear view one day

You will have to reduce your compression in order for your car to up the boost necessary for such a large increase in power. I think optimal compression would be 8.5~9:1<---new pistons
Then think of the rods, bearings, seals,pins...etc....all of them need to be replaced...I think you can run a t3/t4 hybrid turbo up to 500 hp...you need an upgraded fuel pump...an extra fuel rail...new injectors...fuel regulator or just get a Motec...new intercooler...full-front mount...oil cooler...
I bet that guy has spent close to 10-15k on his car...that's not even knowing how many times he blew something building and testing it...

Look at that dyno sheet.

150hp at 5k rpm? Egads ...

That car must feel like your being shot off an aircraft carrier after that turbo lag ...

Dyno looks good for a race engine, but looks fairly unstreetable with that lag
