Check with your dealer. In Detroit there is an outfit by the name of Top Gun. they do the car onsite in 45 mins. I had a dime size chip and you cannot tell even with magnifying glass.
They sand down to bumper., then blend in with a hobby airbrush. The clearcoat is also blended. Awesome job $60.00!!!

Scratch Paint
I had a 10 inch wide by 1/4 in high scratch on the bottom half of my front bumper. I used touch up paint and it did't work. I told the dealer and he told me to go to an automotive paint store and give them the color code number and they will mtach the color in spray paint form. This shop mixed it right there while I waited (cost was $10.00). I used a very very soft scrub pad and rubbed to smooth out the scratch and then masked around it and spray painted over the scratch. It came out perfect.
