350z chasing me...

I had a 350z try to catch me from behind today. I saw that he wanted to run and he was originally infront of me. He made a bad mistake of trying to get around a car and get stuck behind it. I simply went around the both of them, and he got behind me about 3 seconds later. I didnt' hit the gas right away because I wanted to see if he was going to come over. Im completely stock, I had it in SS just incase and I was in 2nd gear at around 3krpm. I was astonished that he wasn't able to walk me easily and that he wasn't really gaining on me at all. If he was it was by very little. I shut it down at 110mph and of course he blew by me.

The ironic thing is that it happened to be a co-worker of mine. We walked into the building together.

I can't wait to get some headers before the summer is over.

good run

But a 350z should walk away easy against a stock cl-s auto. its almost a whole second faster in the 1/4 mile.

hurry and get some headers, it will change your car

To me it looks like headers will make the CLS rape other cars at high rpms but it won't do much down low. It is worth getting headers if you don't tear shit up all the time?

they're worth it no matter what. I have much more power throughout my powerband in pretty much every gear compared to stock.

Headers only give more power in the 5k-7k range, it is dyno-proven. They help with 1/4 times and racing mostly because our cars are geared so that at WOT it stays in VTEC, which coincidentially is 5k-7k.

exactly, meaning the headers will help in pretty much any gear, when under WOT.
