I called a bunch of dealerships in my area and the cheapest Acura dealer was in the $350 neighborhood. So I called a few Honda dealerships that service Acuras, and the cheapest I found for a standard 30k service was $299.

Then I called a certified Honda service shop unaffiliated with a dealership (the one my parents use for their Accord) and his price was around $100! He listed everything he does and it's no different that thsoe dealers that quoted me $300.

My parents like the shop. Any comments, one way or the other? Anyone have an exhaustive list for what I should check, if it differs from the manual?

I have a 2001 CL-S and I drive about 8 miles to work, in suburban DC (Maryland).. Normal Conditions. Thanks for the help..
