mrsteve posted slips of his 14.2 somewhere
Mattg ran a 14.1 before he went spray

Umm thats not stock. You guys are comparing stock vs stock. So show us a stock CL-S running high 14s.

I did a search for stock times also and the range was 14.6-15.5 also. You can throw those two out and I would say most fall in the 14.7-15.1 range. all the 15.1s and 15.2s I saw were in hot, humid weather including mine and yours. I've read Gs having similarly bad times in similar conditions (like I said in a previous post someone posted a 15.2 on the gdriver forum). I also remember when they first came out and people took them to the track they were running 15s also (on the TL board) but don't want to search there as I am all searched out! Like I said before I agree overall with your assessment and I was mostly disputing EZZ's claim that h/i/e CLS = stock G35s auto, which is not true, IMO. Overall I think the cars are so close that it can swing either way in a race (part of the fun isn't it?).

no damnit! you asked for the following, "Okay, show us a few. Not just one, but a few instances with those mods." in response to Renegade's post about h/i modded CLSs. Don't change the subject now. And I am not doing another search on stock CLSs because you would have seen the numbers yourself by now and I mention this in my post above!

I am only in this thread to show facts and I have done this time and time again. I'm not trying to start shit just proving that some people are reaching. Yes there are a few auto Gs in the 14.3-14.5 range but there have also been a few stock CLSs in the 14.6 range. most, for both cars are in the high-14s and up.

Facts are there are alot more G35 autos around 14.5 than stock cl-s running 14.6. 14.9 stock cl-s, 14.5-14.6 g35 auto.

the typical g35 auto doesnt run 14.5-14.6 but thats besides the point, just admit that a cl with headers intake and exhaust would rip a stock G35 a new asshole, thats what I am getting at.

car-stats.com has the auto G sedan at 14.9@ 96, exactly what they list for a cl-s auto. so a cl-s auto w/ i/h should be able to pull on a G35 auto sedan, just like Dem1K did.

it shows the G35C 6mt running a 14.2@ 100, and the cl-s 6mt running 14.6@ 98.

i would say all these numbers are fair for comparison sake. the G35C is a little bit faster with equal drivers and it should be, it has over 20 more hp and it's RWD.

for being a few years older and fwd, the cl-s holds it's own like a MoFo.

i'm closing this because it's going nowhere. if anyone has a good reason i should open it back up, PM me.
