first i raced a pontiac sunfire. his mods INTAKE,EXHAUST,HEADERS, RODS AND PISTIONS, AND A 100 SHOT OF NOS (as far as i know thats what he has). we raced from 35 to 80 and he let off, i was about a car and a half ahead.

2nd i race a 850R turbo volvo. his mods INTAKE, EXHAUST, AND BOOST CONTROLLER, HE RUN ABOUT 12psi. (he is good friend of mine) we raced from 0-100 mph and i got him by about 3 cars and we let off. i have raced him on the highway before from 80-120 mph and it's about 5 to 6 cars.


finally i raced a toyota celica GT-S his mods (wouldn't tell me what he had )his friends said he had nos but don't know for sure. we raced from 35-120 mph. well we took off at 35 mph and we were side by side until 80 mph. (so he had somthing) after that it was over we stoped at 120 mph and i was like 12 cars ahead. NO JOKE !!! it was bad. i knew the passanger in his car and he said the celica didn't let off until 120 mph. i just stayed on it until 120 i didn't know if he let off the reason for this was he was talking shit and did a rice fly by

when you're getting ready to race at 35-40mph which gear are you in and at what rmps?

 

If he had gotten an ECU upgrade, it would be a different story then. 12 psi is almost stock boost...most of the chip out there for the T5 is good for at least 14 psi or above depends on the wastegate adjustment.
