why do you say that?...the 106 means it's already there...close anyway...a 1.8 60 is what it would take....and that can be done...and yes acctually those mods may just be real close to another 35 hp....

Drop your 60' by .1 means .2 in the ET. You'll need to run a 1.7 60' all else equal. (I'm sure you know this already)

I'm at 300whp and trapping between 106-108. 10whp usually means 1 tenth and 1 MPH in our cars (based on my experience).

Yeah, but I dont think Steve has ran sub 2.0 60's like Type-R has, thats where the extra couple tenths come from.

And you should just juice it and run some mid 12's type-r

His 60's are only a few hundredth's of a second faster. Although they seem to be quite consistant and I've only got one 2.000 60' under my belt. But that was my very last run of the season. We'll see if I can hit a 1.9 soon.

ACL's friendly 1/4 mile competition is awesome

I was thinking about it. But the car will most likely hit 100k miles by September-October and I've decided i'm pretty much done with uber expensive mods (unless I decide to beef the tranny). I'm looking at picking up a set of the TSX Silver Star OEM optional wheels.

I know enough people that own RSX's that have spare rims lying all over the place that if I wanted a set of 16's to mount some DRs I could without a problem though, so I might try that later this year.

Before you buy 16" wheels try to find some 16" dr's. I couldnt find any that were still in production when I bought my 17" dr's.

Yeah that's my current problem. I might just get some SUPER sticky soft tires for them. I won't be buying the wheels, just the tires.

I know that Hoosier makes some 16" dr's, they just came out.

https://www.hoosiertire.com/Drtire.htm

Nitto makes their dr's in a 245/50/16, and I think both Nitto & BFG used to make their dr's in a 225/50/16.

Good luck

I wish I could find a 225/50. There aren't any good ones out there. Maybe some Kumho tires.

The Hoosier's are like slicks. I'm almost afraid to run them because I fear breaking something.

Dont even bother with anymore street tires, at your power levels its redundant.

Or try to find some lightly used Nittos or BFG's in 225/50's.

And I dont see how you could really hurt anything with drag radials, unless you are doing some high rpm neutral drops. Basically you are just resolving the wheelspin, and being able to go WOT sooner, since you wont have to modulate the throttle.

yeah they are my buddy's track wheels. Painted them just to make them a little different. He doesn't go around driving like that on the street.
