3.5L goes a new low

short version...2.020 60' on regular nitto 555 235/45/17's 8.818@79.11 banging the rev limiter 3 times...this should have been an 8.71* pass at 81+

i figured that much. it's brake btw.

do you have to feather the throttle out of the hole to prevent wheelspin? i would guess w/ the 3.5 you probably have to.

well i thought you wanted to know if i was torque breaking...not really feather the throttle but control the delivery ...to me it feels like i hit it pause then feed it the rest

Are you running outta breath up top. The 1/8 mph just seemed a tad low to get a real low 13 time. But your in the ballpark 13.4 would be the best and average around 13.6 due to a lower MPH. What's the HP you have?

Based on Dyno Runs you have done. Are you at peak HP at 7000RPm ? Would think about shifting about 200-300 RPM's before peak HP RPM. Give for reation time to shift and keeps you in sweet spot for motor to pull back in. I've always wondered if some auto CLS track runs they were shifting at 7000RPM or abt 6200 where peak HP falls off. Your car is Flying !
