i am happy to see u finally got the GTO great , how good does that sucker drive. i took a stab at test driving one, the inside did nt appeal much to me though. but i bet those thgns are fstttttttttttttttt
slap a charger on it and its oooooooooooooooo

The car is just awesome. The interior is tame but not the drive train(current setup with minor mods 425HP).
The super charger....Ooooh the very slippery slope that we're telling rtatsutani not go down on.......

So what is the compression ratio with 05RL piston?

Don't know, the shop never replied to my questions about engine specs. I'm guessing they don't have it. I'll try calling them again.

the headers would fit as long as you don't swap in the rear motor mount from the 6 speeds. this is what the av6 guys around doing with their cl-s motor swap and 6spd swaps. Many many successful swaps down here in so cal already...

Nope, just put my 1000th mile on it yesterday Will be taking it to the shop soon and will keep you guys posted.

Compression with RL pistons should be close to 11:1

there is a reason why i asked what the final dia. was ....i am not a noob despite my post count and i know there are normally a type A and type B piston.

Input would be great.

Sorry but the shop did not have the specs of the engine bore, piston size, displacement, etc...

thats alright man. I understand. I have found an engine that i can build using those pistons...mdx etc. This engine has only been built once somewhat. What will it go in? A legend. So keep up the good work!

Nope, just went to the track a few weeks ago. Pickin up a unichip next week so will do A map, B map, b4 and after dynos.
