Headers: (I think so)

Air intake: (I don't know the exact config... I may be the "special" mod version)

So lets be realistic. Is this thing going to crank out 5000 worth of power? I know this is the "non broken in" dyno but how much more power are we going to see?

Not if I can get more HP out of a super charger for less.

I feel like a parrot -- I'm just the messenger, not the message.

I think there is a nice big fat gain in torque and HP over the whole area/"usable power band."

Comment: I'm happy at the moment with my setup. But, then I'm not at the down at the strip *and* I figured anything near 14 would be great.

However, I have detected a number of people who are not happy with the current "set" of mods, and are "waiting" for the next BIG kick-in-the-pants.

So, if the wheels, tires, headers, and CAI get Mike into the near 14.2 territory (give him some runs to dial it in), but the 3.5L was supposed to run a 13.9 in 90 degree heat with high humidity, then I will just let people decide for themselves what they are willing to pay for.

I will ask this -- "How much will the super charger be?"

So -- a 13.9 in 90 degree heat and high humidity works out to about a 13.7-13.8 in low temps and low humidity...

I am really not trying to be a dick and I think what they are doing is cool. I am just really hoping we can see some major gains here or at least bring the price down.

If someone did both this car would truly be a beast! Don't forget to harden the tranny gears.

Calvin, don't expect 100hp from Comptech. I think 50-60 would be more reasonable.

syncivic, how many trannys have you guys gone through so far?
I know there are skeptics on the board but there are some of us who applaud what you guys are doing. Keep up the R & D!!!!!

I am not at all trying to be a ass about this. I am just asking questions. I can only hope we will see better gains. I guess I will sit back and wait.

So as not to be counted in the nay sayers... Good luck for syncivic and his dealership in Miami. This R&D is by itself a great achievement. I am sure that they are working on FI for next CL with 6-sp man.

Good luck for you guys

Thanks guys, the weather is fair today and I hope to get to the track at 6PM sharp to maximize the number of passes...the place can be a zoo with hundreds of cars in line to run on some nights...maybe the weather will help deter a few of them. I will put a late night (EST) posting on this site and email Eric the time slips in JPEG tomorrow for actual slip postings....If we run...

Sweet! I'd love to see some more dyno's of the 3.5 CL-S where the dyno starts at a lower rpm like the stock dyno graph. Keep the dyno charts coming and thanks for posting this one! Any more info about what each car had mod wise would be nice too! (When you say stock CL-S that means a CL-S without headers, intake and exhaust right?)

I'm curious how you dyno a CL-S Do you just put it into SS mode grab 3rd gear, and run the dyno from 3rd gear or will the tranny automatically downshift to 2nd gear?

With the Accord they had to put it in 2nd gear to start the dyno's from a lower rpm because with the car in D3 it downshifts to 2nd when you go WOT. The dyno doesn't start logging the data until 4,000rpms when you are in 3rd gear which is the rpm you start at after the 2-3 upshift.

6-speed R&D is good in itself, but I wanna see some R&D for a bulletproof auto-tranny that can handle high boost FI
