I am with a friend(large individual) and carrying a lot of weight in the trunk, he has his amp and guitar from his band practice. I was giving him a ride home. In addition to my 12" Sub, you can imagine the extra load that would be slowing me down

I pull up to a Blue Nova. Not sure what type of engine...my dad had a 450cc one and that cranked out about 255hp...All i knew was that the driver looked in here(well at least tried..i have dark tint) and said ahh shit..ill just smoke this lil ricer! Well was he EVER mistaken. Oh, btw, all i noticed was his dual exhaust, nice rims and tires... It was well taken care of. Anyways, the light turns green and i wasn't sure if it wanted to race so i kinda went easy on my accelerator...he PEELS out, so i floor it catch up to him and pass him at 80, hes pretty pissed at this point so he tail gates me and then tries to hit me up for another race up CRENSHAW....5-0 TRAP!! I deny and let him pass me.


If i did race him, assuming both of us got decent starts...and i didn't have my 200+lb friend/and his 150lb equiptment in the trunk, think i would have won?? My pops says that if he had a 400cc NOVA with no MAJOR mods, he would only be getting AROUND 220-225hp...i KNOW i can smoke that!

I'm not a big classic car fanatic, so any predictions are appreciated...
