I wanted to ask if anyone knew of any places of where I could upgrade my CL offside of Comptech. Typical stuff like Intake, springs, shocks, sway bars, etc.. I also was wondering if anyone knew of what are the main differences in parts from teh CL to the Type S. So if there is anyway to upgrade some parts on my car to make it almost like a Type S. Since the price was only like 2k difference, I was jsut wondering if there are cheap ways to tune my car. Also if tehre are any parts that fit other cars such as the accord that would possibly fit the CL. Thank you for your time.

 

It would be extremely expensive to make your car like a Type-S...

It is only a $2k package because it isnt that expensive to make the Type-S when the engine is first being built.

You can however make your cars performance equal & greater to that of the CL-S via alternate routes.

As for mods... first of all... why not Comptech? And second... pretty much everyone that makes a TL mod makes a mod that will work for the CL-P. So try going here, http://www.autocarparts.com/AcuraTL.htm, for CL-P parts. Talk to 'Tim' at autocarparts and ask him if what you see will fit.

Thank for the help. I will ask aroudn TL owners. Well I want to see if there are other things outside of comptech because comptech is first overpriced and they dotn have too much to offer. As far as those mods to make it a CL type S, are the parts itself really that expensive and if iu know of any could anyone please list it. Do you think it would cost alot mainly because of labor? Right now im deciding wheteror not to get Eibach springs, cant decide whether or not to get pro kit or sportline kit, can anyone please explain which one is better and their differences.
